In my Advanced Web Design class, I was assigned to create a website for an event. After researching local events, I chose to develop a website for the Whoopie Pie Festival in Lancaster, PA. To effectively capture the essence of this festival, I conducted extensive research and even attended the event myself. This allowed me to observe the crowd and create detailed personas, which helped me design a website that felt more authentic.

To enhance the family-friendly atmosphere of the festival, I created illustrations for the event's activities. Additionally, I designed a postcard with a new logo that helped push brand consistency. This project marked my first experience in building a website using media tags and ensuring its compatibility with mobile and tablet devices.
